The Blues are seriously considering making a significant offer for Gavi over the winter or next summer at the latest. According to the Spanish daily Sport, Mauricio Pochettino thinks that the young Spaniard can be a great contribution to his team.
The Argentine boss plans to pair Gavi with players like Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo in a three-man midfield.
However, Barca are not willing to sell, with the Catalans having set Gavi’s price at €100m. The only caveat is that Barca’s finances require them to sell players, which could encourage them to sell their talent if Chelsea ever make a high enough offer.
