Former PSG coach Christophe Galtier no longer places Lionel Messi above everyone else.

Christophe Galtier is currently coach of Al-Duhail. And in his new role, the French coach is no longer obliged to train the stars (or ex-stars) of PSG in the right direction. This week, he took the liberty of sending a big dig at his former star, Lionel Messi.

Galtier prefers Ronaldo to Messi

At the end of an Asian Champions League match, “Galette” praised Cristiano Ronaldo, the great rival of Pulga. It must also be said that the context lent itself to this since the Portuguese had just scored two goals with his Al Nassr team.

“When we face Cristiano Ronaldo, there is not much to do, he scored two beautiful goals, I have no words to describe it. What he is doing at 38 is extraordinary. He is still the best player in the world,” indicated the double French champion trainer.

A self-respecting opinion but which would have been more credible if he had not declared the opposite a few months ago. After his dismissal from PSG, he indicated that he had “the privilege of managing the best player in history”obviously referring to Lionel Messi.
