Negotiations between Warren Zaire-Emery and his PSG management are currently at a standstill.

Warren Zaire-Emery is currently one of PSG’s best players. The 17-year-old Titi even had an exceptional performance in the Champions League against AC Milan. Faced with its emergence, the Ile-de-France management would be well advised to lock it up. However, this does not seem to be his primary occupation at the moment.

PSG delays for Zaire-Emery

“WZE” signed its last contract in July 2022. A contract which today already seems “stale” given the progress it has made in recent months. “It’s an invaluable talent that has no value. Today, it is off the market,” confided a source close to the French champion club.

Logic would therefore have dictated that Paris hastened to offer a new lease to its protégé. However, discussions in this direction, if they exist, are progressing very slowly according to what Le Parisien reveals. The Ile-de-France board would be convinced that there is no emergency. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to keep his gem.

The source specifies that “exchanges are continuing in a good climate” but that we are still far from an agreement. There would also remain several points to be resolved before possibly reaching a deal. Other discussions could take place soon in order to clarify these different points.

Zaire-Emery soon in Blue?

What could lead Paris to become a little more active is for Zaire-Emery to become an international A. Currently captain of Thierry Henry’s Bleuets, the Parisian number 33 can very well apply for a place with Didier Deschamps’ Bleus. On November 8, the latter will give his list for the final Euro qualifying matches. And there is a very good chance that the new Parisian gem will be there.
