Jude Bellingham has been in dazzling form since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund over the summer.

In 12 matches in all competitions, he has scored 11 goals, the most recent of which was the victory against Braga in the Champions League last Tuesday.

However, Bellingham did not play the entire match after being replaced by Lucas Vazquez late in the match. He moved carefully as he took his leave, MD claiming he held his groin before taking his place on the Real Madrid bench. This has sparked fears over his availability for the game against Barcelona on Saturday.

Bellingham would be a big absentee for Real Madrid if he had to sit out the Clasico. Real Madrid and their coach Carlo Ancelotti will therefore pray that the problem is not serious and that he is able to train before the weekend.

That’s not the only problem Real faced on Tuesday. Joselu Mato missed the game against Braga after falling ill just before kick-off, while Antonio Rudiger appeared to suffer a cramp at the final whistle.
