One week before the Clasico, Real Madrid came out of a shock in Seville with the point of the draw (1-1), Saturday evening in La Liga.

In addition to its 10 victories in all competitions and its defeat in the derby against Atlético (3-1), Real Madrid had not yet recorded a draw. It was done after an intense match in the den of Sevilla FC (1-1), Saturday afternoon for the 10th day of La Liga. The Merengues, championship leaders, do not lose one week before hosting a Clasico, facing Barça who can come back to a point on Sunday (against Bilbao).

Carlo Ancelotti’s players fought hard against the defensively tough but also dangerous Rojiblancos. Goals from Federico Valverde (4th) and Jude Bellingham (6th) were refused, but the English midfielder as well as his two Brazilian friends, Vinicius and especially Rodrygo, then fell on a great Orjan Nyland (this Norwegian goalkeeper has been a starter for a month in Seville).

The Sanchez-Pizjuan crowd was even overwhelmed with happiness when their team opened the score. David Alaba, fighting with Youssef En-Nesyri, sent a cross from Marcos Acuna into the goal of Kepa Arrizabalaga (47th). In the process, Dani Carvajal equalized with a beautiful header at the near post from a corner (78th). Eduardo Camavinga or Toni Kroos failed to score a winning goal and Real Madrid leaves Andalusia with just one point. And doubts.
