Marcus Thuram scored his 4th goal with Inter, opening the scoring in the victory against Torino (0-3) on Saturday. The striker who played in the Bundesliga is the most decisive French player behind Kylian Mbappé.
Beaten by Randal Kolo Muani then Olivier Giroud during the last two matches of the France team (he entered in the second half each time), Marcus Thuram returned to Inter Milan to continue his excellent start to the season. The 26-year-old striker opened the scoring for the Nerazzurri by taking a cross from Denzel Dumfries in the den of Torino (0-3), Saturday in Serie A.
Thuram has enjoyed himself since his arrival in Lombardy. The former Mönchengladbach striker, installed at the forefront alongside Lautaro Martinez in Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2, now has 4 goals and 5 assists in all competitions. He is the most decisive French player this season behind Kylian Mbappé, author of a goal and an assist in the afternoon with PSG (against Strasbourg).
Lautaro Martinez (57th), with a header for his 11th goal in Serie A (!), and Hakan Calhanoglu (93rd), from a penalty obtained by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, are the other two interior scorers. The latter take the lead in the ranking ahead of AC Milan, opposed to Juventus on Sunday evening at San Siro, during the big shock of the 9th day of the Italian championship.
