Real Madrid’s dream left-back is down to €50 million, according to reports from Germany.
Alphonso Davies has been linked with Los Blancos since the start of the year, and with his contract expiring in the summer of 2025, Real Madrid believe they have the opportunity to pounce. Bayern Munich were in contract negotiations with Davies, but those negotiations have stalled, as the player’s agent has admitted.
According to BILD in Germany, Davies will be available for just 50 million euros next summer. Real Madrid are ready to make an offer of 40 million euros, but no agreement has been reached.
Los Blancos have wanted to replace Ferland Mendy for some time, and it would be wise for them to move quickly in order to secure Davies’ signature. This is a high fee for a player at the end of his contract, and this report suggests that Davies’ negotiations are not going well for a new lease in Bavaria. If Davies is available for that amount, there is no doubt that Premier League clubs will also enter the race if Real fail to secure a deal.
