John Textor’s first strong choice at OL is to keep Laurent Blanc as coach for the coming season.
Before even knowing who will be responsible for recruiting at Olympique Lyonnais or even knowing the club’s first summer recruits, John Textor has made a strong first choice as president of OL. The American owner of Les Gones has decided to keep Laurent Blanc as coach, while real uncertainty hovered over the future of the former coach of Les Bleus at the time of the takeover of the club by John Textor.

Lyon’s more convincing second half of the season, particularly in terms of accounting, allowed Laurent Blanc to save his place. John Textor therefore maintained his confidence in him for the coming season, a rather logical decision in the eyes of Nicolas Puydebois. For the pro-OL consultant, maintaining Laurent Blanc as coach is therefore logical.
