Luis Enrique fears that his team will not be in the best shape this Saturday against Strasbourg.
Return from the international break and continuation with the Champions League, the match of the 9e day of Ligue 1 between Paris and Strasbourg this Saturday could not be more poorly positioned for a PSG which in its ranks only counts internationals or almost. This Friday on the eve of the match, Luis Enrique spoke to the press about his difficulties in mobilizing his team in such circumstances.
“ Players have a different, very powerful and strong stimulation when playing with their selections. The first match after, you are more or less motivated. But when you’re a big team, you have to be able to play even when you’re not motivated », whispers the Spanish coach, who remembers that the previous truce for his men resulted in a scathing defeat against Nice (2-3) at the Parc des Princes.
The Nice precedent
“ It’s the coach’s job, I didn’t manage to do it in the first game (against Nice, editor’s note) since we lost even if the attitude was good. I hope I don’t repeat what happened.
