Victim of a ruptured Achilles tendon contracted during the Classic against OM last February, Presnel Kimpembe sees the light at the end of the tunnel. Absent for more than eight months, the Paris Saint-Germain defender is still recovering but is following a rehabilitation program which is going smoothly. If a return of the French international to competition is not yet on the cards, he should nevertheless rejoin the Ile-de-France group and participate in collective sessions at the beginning of November.

Despite the summer arrivals of Lucas Hernandez and Milan Skriniar, Presnel Kimpembe believes that he still has a card to play at Paris Saint-Germain, according to information from Parisian. Linked to the reigning French champion until next June, the native of Beaumont-sur-Oise who is now represented by the powerful English agency CAA Stellar, does not rule out the possibility of extending the adventure with the capital club despite the interests of European leaders in recent months. It is important to note that Presnel Kimpembe still retains his status as vice-captain, which testifies to his importance in the Ile-de-France group.
