Recruited this summer by Paris Saint-GErmain, Kang-in Lee has not yet really shown what he is capable of with his new club. On the other hand, he shines with the South Korean selection.

He was one of Paris Saint-Germain’s surprise summer signings. In an attempt to renew and improve the quality of their midfield, Parisian recruiters have decided to look towards Mallorca. On July 8, the arrival of Kang-in Lee was therefore validated. Since then, the South Korean has played very little with Paris since he only participated in three matches, in all competitions, for a total of 143 minutes of play. But while waiting to reveal himself one day with his new team, the midfielder shines with his selection.

Already on October 7, the twenty-two-year-old won with the South Korean U23s in the final of the Asian Games against Japan (2-1). And this Tuesday, it is this time with the A selection that the PSG player stood out since he scored a goal during the card achieved by South Korea against Vietnam (6-0). He was also behind his team’s first goal, with an assist for Kim Min-Jae (5th).

PSG hopes

Next November, Kang-in Lee will perhaps have the opportunity to return to the South Korean selection as part of the qualifications for the 2026 World Cup. In a group largely within his reach, South Korea will notably face China , Singapore and Thailand. As for Kang-in Lee, perhaps he will start on October 21 with Paris Saint-Germain, on the occasion of the reception in Strasbourg (5 p.m., 9th day of Ligue 1). Luis Enrique and the Parisian supporters hope to see him in the same form as with his selection.
