This evening, after their victory in the Netherlands (2-1), synonymous with qualification for Euro 2024 organized in Germany, Didier Deschamps’ men face Scotland. A friendly organized in Lille which should allow the coach of the France team to make some changes to his 4-3-3.

The cages should still be guarded by the man who will make his comeback at the Decathlon Arena, Mike Maignan. One step ahead of him, Deschamps should start three of the four defenders present in Amsterdam. Théo Hernandez and Jonathan Clauss on the sides, with a new-look central hinge, Ibrahima Konaté-Benjamin Pavard. Lucas Hernandez would therefore be put to rest for the benefit of the Interiste.

Some tweaks among the Blues

In the midfield, there should also be just one small change. Aurélien Tchouaméni and Antoine Griezmann would be renewed, while Adrien Rabiot would give way to Merengue Eduardo Camavinga. Often carried around in several positions, the Madrilenian should appreciate having his chance in the middle. Finally, the sector of the game where the most changes are expected is the attack. In the Netherlands, Deschamps had placed his trust in the Mbappé-Kolo Muani-Coman trio.

This evening, two of them should start on the bench. Captain Mbappé would be maintained and would play alongside Ousmane Dembélé and Olivier Giroud. Opposite, the Scots should offer us a 5-4-1 with Gunn in goal. The defense would consist of Patterson, Porteous, Hendry, McKenna and Taylor. In the middle, the infused McTominay will be there with McGuinn, Gilmour and Armstrong. All these beautiful people will be responsible for feeding Adams at the forefront.
