Former Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry has paid a magnificent tribute to Mikel Arteta.

Recently named coach of the France Espoirs team, Thierry Henry always keeps an eye on his favorite club, Arsenal, where he beat his legend between 1999 and 2007. And in recent months, the second top scorer of the history of the Blues took great pleasure in watching Mikel Arteta’s men play.

In the podcast The Rest is Football, “Titi” said all the good things he thought of the Gunners’ Spanish technician. “I have mad respect for what Mikel Arteta has done. The way he got the team back together”he confided.

“I went to matches because I had to”

And to add: “Five years ago, I couldn’t relate to the team. I just couldn’t. I went to matches because I had to, not because I wanted to. It was just because I was an Arsenal fan, not because I wanted to watch them play. »
