Several controversies are currently shaking the world of football as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has resumed with a vengeance since various attacks which have taken place in recent days. And France is no exception to the rule with the Jean-Clair Todibo affair. Indeed, an image has been circulating in a loop since Friday evening on social networks after a minute of silence was respected by the public at the Johan Cruyff Arena in memory of the civilians killed in Israel and Gaza but also for Dominique Bernard, the professor murdered in Arra, during the match between the Netherlands and France.
While the meditation was in progress, we could see, in a sequence captured by certain cameras, Jean-Clair Todibo laughing. The scene has since sparked a huge wave of indignation.
