In Marseille, rugby teaches football a lesson

At the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille, rugby supporters gave a good example of what it means to respect your opponent.

Footballers are often fooled by their fellow rugby players who, they emphasize, are fans of a “real” sport. We can agree on at least one point. A football match is often won by an individual exploit, unlike an oval ball match. Without the collective, there is no performance.

Respecting the game, the opponent and the referees is another positive point in favor of rugby. We saw yet another example of this on Saturday near the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille, which is hosting several matches for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Wales fans mingled with Argentinian supporters before the quarter-final which will pit the two countries against the Marseille club. An unimaginable scene for an OM-PSG.
