Deprived of eight players, currently in the infirmary, Manchester United decided to react. According to the latest information from Daily Mail, the Red Devils have decided to open an internal investigation in order to understand the reasons for this massacre. As a reminder, the Mancunian club has already announced injuries to 16 players, after only 8 days of the Premier League. If the accumulation of matches can be an explanation and certain glitches, like that experienced by Amad Diallo (victim of a blow after a duel), seem inevitable, the multiple muscular problems worry the Mancunian management.
With the opening of this investigation, Manchester United therefore hopes to have concrete elements and thus avoid further disappointments for the rest of the season. As a reminder, the current 10th in the Premier League had strengthened its medical department by recruiting Gary O’Driscoll from Arsenal, as head of sports medicine. A recruitment, however, decided before the current wave of injuries.
