Ligue 1: the ranking of the youngest teams

For several years, Ligue 1 has been known to be a championship focused on youth. Over the years, the League of Talents has released gems that have spread across Europe. This is why most elite teams trust youth and no longer hesitate to trust the players in their training center. This is the case for Toulouse this season as reported by CIES (the football observatory) this Wednesday. With an average of 24.16 years on the different eleven aligned by Carles Martinez Novell, Téfécé is the youngest team in Ligue 1 and the five major championships.

Paris Saint-Germain, which has focused on a transfer window based on young players, has the second youngest average eleven in the league (25.08). With the flight of most of its young talents, OL are now eighth with an average of 25.87. On the other hand, Olympique de Marseille is the oldest team in Ligue 1. With an average of 27.91 years, Marseille’s regular starters are the oldest in the elite.
