Indeed, a candidacy bringing together four nations could be announced in the coming weeks. At the origin of the project, Indonesia would try to convince Australia, Malaysia and Singapore to join its cause, according to information from Sydney Morning Herald.
“We are in discussions with Australia and when we visited Malaysia and Singapore, both countries expressed the idea of joining Indonesia and Australia”confided Erick Thorir, head of the Indonesian Football Federation.
