Three months have passed since his departure from PSG and now Christophe Galtier is returning to coaching.

Surveyed by OM a few weeks ago, Christophe Galtier had politely declined Pablo Longoria’s proposal, cooled by a heated context then on the side of Marseille – especially for him who had just broken up with PSG. We didn’t have to wait much longer, however, to see the 57-year-old technician return to service.

Dismissed from his Parisian duties on July 5, Christophe Galtier will be presented today by the Al-Duhaïl club, reigning Qatar champion. The person concerned, who signed his contract on Monday the day after a Qatar F1 Grand Prix to which his president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi had invited him, will immediately lead his very first training session in Doha, underlines Le Parisien.

With his four acolytes

The former Saint-Etienne, Lille and Nice strategist has signed up for two years like four other of his close friends and staff members: his assistants Thierry Oleksiak and Joao Sacramento, goalkeeper coach Fabrice Grange and physical trainer Nelson Caldera. He succeeds former Argentinian striker Hernan Crespo.
