Paris Saint-Germain wants to expand its activities. For several years now, the Parisian club, through its president Nasser al-Khelaïfi, has confirmed its intention to become a stronghold in the world of sport by asserting itself in other sectors such as judo but also handball and esports in order to develop the PSG brand internationally. In this perspective, the leaders of the Rouge et Bleu have wanted, for a while, to make their entry into a discipline which is making a lot of noise today, particularly after the performance of Cédric Doumbé under the eyes of several residents of the Parc des Princes including a certain Kylian Mbappé.

Indeed, the Parisian club would seek to create an MMA structure thanks to Djamel Bouras, the president of PSG Judo, who received a message thanking him from Ali Abdelaziz, one of the most powerful managers in MMA, with a montage an octagon in the colors of PSG in the background. To succeed in this project, the management of the Rouge et Bleu is also counting on a heavyweight in the sector, Khabib Nurmagomedov, close to Nasser al-Khelaïfi since the Dagestani’s numerous visits to the French capital, with Kylian Mbappé but also during a exhibition with Parisian judokas. In any case, Paris Saint-Germain does not hide its ambitions and dreams a little more of joining the most prestigious competition, the UFC.
