Belgian striker and former national teammate of Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku, praised the career of his former captain and now retired.

After announcing his decision to end his professional career, Eden Hazard received numerous tributes from the world of football. In particular, of Kylian Mbappé, as well as his compatriot, Romelu Lukaku.

“Here’s Eden, we heard the news this morning. I would like to thank you as a teammate for many years. We grew up together in the national team, I also played with your brother (Thorgan, editor’s note) in the selection and with the young people. For me, it was a pleasure to play with you for so many years. You brought us so many moments of pleasure, goals and assists”, declared the Red Devils scorer in a video published on the BelRedDevils X account this Tuesday.

“You gave people a lot of pleasure, you made them happy. I would like to congratulate you on your great career, you have been an example for all of us from start to finish. You are a family man and a top professional player. Congratulations on your career. I wish only the best for you, your family, good health and lots of luck,” added the native of Antwerp.
