Arriving as a free player this summer at Inter Milan, Benjamin Pavard is regaining color in Italy. Important holder in a central defender position (5 starts in the last 6 matches) which he particularly likes, the French international spoke in an interview given to the Gazzetta dello Sport this Wednesday. He notably returned to the changes in his new daily life, compared to what he had experienced in Germany before.
“What if my job changes from that at Bayern? We run a lot more herenoted the player trained at LOSC. I was surprised by the intensity of the training even in the sessions before the match. We do a lot of tactical work. The approach is different. Serie A is a much more tactical championship. The opponents defend very well, as a team, so it becomes more difficult to face even mid-level teams.”
