The Champions League heroes weren’t exactly tired. Winners of Arsenal on Tuesday evening at home (2-1) after an intense fight and after being led by the English, the Lensois could legitimately be blunted on Sunday against Losc.
This is not what we felt in one of the Northern derbies, among the posters for the 8th day of Ligue 1. The Sang et Or coach, Franck Haise, had anticipated this management of the organizations in modifying his starting XI compared to the one which started against the Gunners.
Machado’s jewel
Thomasson and Wahi, scorers against the English, were on the bench at the kick-off against Losc and witnessed the opening score of the Dogues signed by André from a corner (0-1, 45th + 3).
It was also with the head that Lens was able to equalize, through Machado, at the conclusion of a collective movement from which all the residents of the training centers must draw inspiration (1-1, 70th).
If they were unable to offer their audience at the Bollaert stadium a second success in a row during the week, the Lensois once again demonstrated that they had heart and a constant desire.
