FC Barcelona must grit their teeth. Against Porto, Robert Lewandowski was injured and should be out for a month. Enough to leave the Catalan club without a real number 9 at the forefront of the attack even if João Félix will undoubtedly be able to help out. But the Pole’s injury stirs up an already delicate issue around Vitor Roque. Also affected in the ankle, the Brazilian should return in November before why not joining Barça in the winter according to the Spanish press. So much so that Deco would consider going to his home, during the international break, to discuss his situation and Barcelona’s desires.

A.S. provides details and explains that Xavi would expect a lot from Deco’s visit to Brazil to know the position of Vitor Roque. Unfortunately, FC Barcelona will have to find a financial means to free up enough space to integrate the young nugget during the season. A thorny case knowing that unknown clauses could also emerge if the initial transfer – arrival planned for June 2024 – is not respected by Barça. The Catalans will therefore have to decide this winter whether or not to repatriate Vitor Roque to Spain. Deco’s return trip should clear all that up.
