Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admitted that his Croatian midfielder’s situation was complex.

Ancelotti rules out Modric departure
The former Ballon d’Or now has plans to leave because he is no longer happy in the Spanish capital. A state of affairs that his trainer Carlo Ancelotti did not deny. Finally, Ancelotti assured that it was completely excluded that the Croatian would leave during the winter transfer window, while rumors point to a transfer to Dinamo Zagreb. “ If Luka Modrić leaves in January? Absolutely not. There’s no chance. He doesn’t want to leave. He thinks he’s an important player and we think the same thing. He is a very important player for us. We are happy to keep it.”
