For these two meetings, Didier Deschamps decided to recall Jonathan Claus following his very good start to the season with theOlympic Marseille. The former Lensois had not been selected since September 2022. Still in defense, Ibrahima Konate is also making his return after missing the last rally due to injury.

Concerning the right-back position, the Blues coach indicated that Benjamin Pavard was selected as central defender, therefore leaving Jules Koundé as a full-back.
