Iliman Ndiaye, the Senegalese striker for Olympique de Marseille, admitted that Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was one of his sources of influence.

After seven league matches, Iliman Ndiaye finally managed to open his goal tally in Ligue 1 with Olympique de Marseille on Saturday, during the defeat against Monaco (3-2).

To continue his momentum, the Senegalese international intends to draw inspiration from his more experienced elder, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Very happy to play today with his idol at OM, the Rouennais does not miss any opportunity to learn alongside him, particularly in training.

“Aubameyang brings me a lot in everything he does in training or during matches. He talks to me a lot, he shows me a lot. It’s like an idol. When I was young, I watched him play all the time. So it’s nice to play with him,” Ndiaye said at a press conference.

And to add: “He pushes me a lot. When we do shooting sessions together, for example, he tells me how to do it. I really appreciate. I hope to reach the level he had during his career and do a lot of good things with him this season. »
