The PSG coach did not like being criticized for the team he fielded last weekend in Clermont.

At a press conference this Tuesday, on the eve of the match against Newcastle in C1, Luis Enrique defended his choices and in a firm tone: “There is team building work. Creating a team is not about putting players in every minute of every match. It’s easy to say afterwards that Ugarte should have played in Clermont. This is no way to build a team. We have to make decisions that people won’t always understand. I’m trying to create a group with 23 starters and not just 11.”
