FC Barcelona has made a choice regarding the future of its Spanish striker, Ansu Fati.
FC Barcelona intends to sell Ansu Fati at the end of the season. The latter no longer enters into the plans of Xavi, the Blaugrana coach.
Xavi no longer counts on Ansu Fati
Ansu Fati is currently on loan at Brighton, with no permanent option. According to Sport, FC Barcelona intend to sell Fati this summer or exchange him for another player.
The Spanish champion club has also secured the services of an offensive player from next summer, in the person of Brazilian Vitor Roque. Therefore, the club will need to sell players in order to allay concerns over financial fair play but also to free up space in attack.
Ansu Fati had an encouraging debut at the highest level with Barça. Then, little by little, it faded away. The weight of number 10, which he inherited after the departure of Lionel Messi to PSG, was also too heavy to bear.
