The Bayern president has said that the team’s new goalscorer was less expensive than the media led people to believe.

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer says the club got Harry Kane for a much lower amount than was announced.

With Kane, Bayern got their money’s worth

Numerous sources had suggested that Bayern had paid a sum amounting to 115 million euros to sign Kane last month from Tottenham. But, it turns out that this is not really the transfer fee paid by the Munich residents.

“Harry Kane didn’t cost us more than 100 million euros. Unless we win this season and future seasons, Hainer insisted. Without the bonuses, we are below 100 million.”

Kane (30) has scored nine goals in eight appearances for Bayern. A cannonball start to the journey which justifies the investment made in it by the Bavarian giant. Whatever the cost, he is the most expensive defector in history.
