Trailing 0-2, Atlético Madrid finally won 3-2 against Cádiz, this Sunday evening, for the 8th day of La Liga.
Atlético got scared. Sanctioned by Cadiz, who opened the scoring thanks to Lucas Pires (12th), before doubling the lead through Roger Marti (27th), the Colchoneros reacted perfectly to achieve a third success in a row in La Liga (3- 2).
If they lacked efficiency at the start of the match, like Antoine Griezmann, who found the right post with his uncontrolled shot with his left foot (3rd), before failing a few moments later on the opposing goalkeeper (5th), the Madrilenians did not lack mentality.
Correa sees double
Correa first reduced the score for Atléti (32nd), then Molina tied the two teams just after the break (46th). And thanks to Angel Correa, author of a double (66th), Diego Simeone’s men snatched three new precious points in the title race.
