Another strange Cristiano Ronaldo statue has emerged, and this one doesn’t look at all like the Portuguese superstar.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was presented with a bronze bust at Madeira airport in 2017, which left fans around the world perplexed. This production has since been updated, after receiving widespread criticism, but bizarre statues continue to be erected around the world.
It has been revealed that Ronaldo was greeted by another strange artwork during his recent visit to Iran with Al-Nassr. The hotel he was staying in chose to place a statue of Ronaldo.

Unfortunately, the mannequin in question didn’t look at all like Cr7 and the man himself may have been left a little perplexed by its presence as he went about his daily business.
The Portuguese’s visit to Iran aroused a lot of interest. The Al-Nassr team bus was chased down the street by hundreds of fans desperate to catch a glimpse of their hero, while banners were placed across Tehran displaying messages of support for Ronaldo, who has scored 16 goals in 15 appearances this season.
