Thanks to its victory against Lazio Rome this Saturday, AC Milan has a third success in a row and takes the lead in Serie A.

After two victories against Hellas Verona (1-0) and Cagliari (3-1), AC Milan wanted to continue and definitively forget the slap received against Inter Milan in mid-September. Facing Mattéo Guendouzi’s Lazio Rome, Stefano Pioli’s men were once again reassured and narrowly won.

It is Christian Pulisic who opened the scoring on the hour mark by concluding a beautiful collective movement. A late goal from Noah Okafor, well served by Rafael Leao who, after a solitary rush on his left side, offered his second assist of the evening, will seal the Rossoneri’s success. Thanks to this victory (2-0), the Lombard club continues and temporarily takes the lead in Serie A ahead of Inter. The Biancocelesti recorded their fourth defeat (in seven matches) of the season and are in 14th place.
