The seventh day of Ligue 1 offers a meeting between Clermont and Paris Saint-Germain. At home, the Auvergnats play in a 3-5-2 formation where Mory Diaw acts as the last defense. In front of him, Alidu Seidu, Andy Pelmard and Maximiliano Caufriez constitute the hinge while Cheick Konaté and Jim Allevinah are placed as pistons. Maxime Gonalons, Johan Gastien and Yohann Magnin lead the midfield. Up front, Shamar Nicholoson and Muhammed Cham make up the attack.

For their part, the Ile-de-France residents are structured in a sort of 4-2-4 like against OM. Gianluigi Donnarumma occupies the cage behind the Danilo Pereira-Milan Skriniar hinge, with Marquinhos playing on the left side to give Lucas Hernandez a breather. Vitinha supports Fabian Ruiz in the midfield, while up front, Randal Kolo Muani is accompanied by Kylian Mbappé, the duo being supported by Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola on the wings.
