Nasser Al Khelaifi, owner of Paris Saint-Germain and president of the ECA, was in Warsaw in recent days. The opportunity for him to grant a long interview to the Polish media Meczyki in which he discusses the Lewandowski case.

Not holding a grudge, he did not hesitate to praise the Pole. “I am not used to talking about players who are not at PSG and the transfers which are going to be made or which should be made. But it’s no secret that Robert is an incredible striker,” he admits.

“All the clubs in the world looked at him and thought about signing him. But Robert is in Barcelona today and I respect him. There aren’t many strikers like him, who score almost every game. A goal-scoring machine. And a fantastic man. We know each other and I can only say good things about him,” adds Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.
