Aston Villa and Castore on the verge of separation! As a reminder, the jerseys of the current 6th in the Premier League have sparked complaints from several male and female players. The reason ? The Villans noticed throughout the matches that the tunics absorbed perspiration very poorly, a problem which would affect their performance on the field.

This Friday, The Telegraph reports that discussions have already taken place between the West Midlands club and the English equipment manufacturer with a view to finding a solution. According to the British media, both parties are in the process of agreeing to an early termination of their contract. “There has been speculation in the media about a potential problem in the football kit Castore supplied to Aston Villa. We are working closely with the club to resolve this issue as quickly as possible to meet the standards we expect. We would like to thank the club for their patience and support so far. As a proud new British brand, we always hold ourselves to the highest standards and strive to do everything we can to constantly improve the performance of our products. This means responding to customer concerns with speed and humility”said a spokesperson for Castore.
