PSG will have to do without a key player until the end of January.

At PSG, everything was going well in the best of all worlds since the thunderous success against Marseille during the Classic (4-0). But now bad news has arrived like a hair in the soup from the Camp des Loges side.

Mbappé still not training

The French champion club learned this Wednesday that it will have to cope without a major element for a long period. The player in question is Nuno Mendes. The Portuguese is forced to have an operation and his period of unavailability would be four months.

Nuno Mendes has been out of action since last May with a hamstring injury. He has not yet played a single match in this 2023/2024 season. His place, on the left side of the defense, is (well) occupied by the French international Lucas Hernandez.

Besides Mendes, there was also news of Kylian Mbappé from Paris. Hit in the left ankle against OM, the Bondynois continues to work in the gym for the moment. A new point will be made concerning him next Friday, on the eve of the trip to Clermont (7e day of League 1).
