It was time. Since the start of the season, Chelsea have played without an official sponsor in front of their tunics. Only the Nike brand and the club crest appear on the Blues jerseys. The reason is simple, the contract signed with “Three” at the time ended this summer and was not renewed. But the Londoners should soon replenish their coffers with the arrival of a brand new sponsor that Mauricio Pochettino’s men will sport until next summer.
As revealed in August, the company “Infinite Athlete” was chosen by Chelsea to become the club’s official sponsor until the end of the season, since the Premier League has finally, according to The Evening Standard, approved the deal with the private sports data company. A contract which should bring in a hell of a check for the Blues, to the tune of 43 million pounds sterling. Enzo Fernandez’s teammates will soon discover their new tunics.
