Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has responded to the criticism leveled at him.

Since Real Madrid’s defeat against Atlético Madrid (3-1) this Sunday, during the Madrid derby at the Cívitas Metropolitano, Carlo Ancelotti has been the subject of strong criticism. During his visit to a press conference this Tuesday, before the reception of Las Palmas as part of the seventh day of La Liga, this Wednesday, the Merengue coach defended himself against critics who question the start of the Madrid season.

“I am a calm person, with a certain ability to assess situations, explained the transalpine technician. But questioning a team that has won six out of seven games this season… that seems like a stretch to me. (…) You could give me a summary of all the ones that came across me, nothing bothers me. It’s my job, as I said before.

The Real manager is also criticized for still relying too much on the Modric-Kroos pair. “It’s not true that I don’t dare leave Modric and Kroos on the bench. Here, all matches are important. If I had to respond to all the reviews…I would spend a lot of time here”replied Ancelotti.
