It was the long-awaited match of this 6th day of the Premier League. This Sunday, on the pitch at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal were held to a draw by Tottenham with a score of 2-2. A draw which does not help the two teams who remain 4th (Tottenham) and fifth in the standings (Arsenal).

It was a London derby as we like them. Intense, thrilling and indecisive. Ahead on the scoreboard, Arsenal thought they had done the hardest part by opening the score (1-0, 26th) with an own goal from Christian Romero.

Mikel Arteta’s men thought they could advance but that was without taking into account the reaction of Spurs just before the end of the first act. Korean captain Heug-min Son found the net following a technical festival from James Maddison (1-1.42) on the left side of the area. The number 7 appeared like a fox at the near post to reset the scorers to 0.

Returning from the locker room, the Gunners quickly regained the advantage thanks to the inevitable Bukayo Saka from the penalty spot (2-1, 54th) The English international wrong-footed Italian goalkeeper Guglelmo Vicario. But a few seconds later, mentally, the Spurs came back to score again.

Ange Postegoclou’s men surprised the Gunners from the start. James Maddison grabs a ball from Jorginho’s feet before serving Heug-min Son who does not tremble in front of David Raya (2-2, 55th). A spectacle worthy of the name!
