Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille face off for an Electric Classic this Sunday (8:45 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the Marseille club.

After a draw with the flavor of a victory on the pitch of Ajax Amsterdam, Thursday (3-3), Olympique de Marseille is preparing to face a series of big passes, from Paris to Brighton, passing by Monaco. It is therefore the Parisian enemy who stands in the way of Jacques Abardonado’s gang. Propelled onto the club bench after the sudden departure of Marcelino, the French technician is faced with a real headache for this trip to the capital.

On Thursday, Abardonado did not hesitate to make very strong choices by swapping Marcelino’s highly contested 4-4-2 for a more classic 4-3-3. The animation has changed, the men too. Left aside under Marcelino, Ounahi was reinstated in the middle, in a position that suits his qualities. Will the Moroccan international continue in midfield? This is a possibility for Abardonado.

If the interim coach of OM keeps the same structure as in Amsterdam, he will however take a notable risk. The animation proposed on Thursday, with a high block, highlighted OM’s difficulties in covering depth. It would be adventurous, even downright perilous, to keep this plan in the face of the Parisian spiers. A certain Kylian Mbappé is just waiting for that… The other option was to return to a more secure 4-4-2 but less exciting offensively. The defensive line should not change.

The expected lineup for OM : Lopez – Clauss, Mbemba, Gigot, Renan Lodi – Veretout, Ounahi, Rongier – Harit, Aubameyang, Ndiaye.
