One more disaster for Manchester United. This could have been dramatic. On Saturday, the Red Devils faced Burnley at Turf Moor (0-1) and brought back the 3 points in difficulty. A victory which is good for the Mancunians who have been struggling since the start of the season. But success doesn’t really matter right now. Indeed, after the match, Marcus Rashford had a car accident.
It is The Sun who reports the news. Well installed in his Rolls-Royce, the English striker saw his car being heavily damaged by the accident in question, the engine even being completely dented. Fortunately, Rashford was only partially shaken according to initial reports and is not believed to be injured. A pole on a traffic island was toppled a few meters from the accident and Bruno Fernandes went to the scene to help his teammate. No ambulances were called, nor were any arrests made. More fear than harm in the end but there is no doubt that the consequences of this event could have been terrible for the player and his club.
