If Gianluigi Donnarumma does not improve considerably this season, Mike Maignan could be recruited by PSG.

Since his arrival at Paris Saint-Germain, Gianluigi Donnarumma has never been unanimous. Especially since the 24-year-old goalkeeper is the subject of much criticism in Italy due to certain average performances in the selection.

“When you look at some of his recent performances, Donnarumma is always very uncomfortable on the ball, which Luis Enrique doesn’t like. So, in the long term, I think PSG will consider other options.”imagined the journalist Jonathan Johnson on CaughtOffside. “An interesting possibility would be for PSG to repatriate their former player Mike Maignan. The Frenchman now plays for Donnarumma’s former club, AC Milan. he continues. The French team goalkeeper is currently under contract with AC Milan until June 2026.

“Maignan is now number one in the French team. I definitely think PSG will look at him next year. They could try to complete a trade with Donnarumma”, concludes Jonathan Johnson. In June 2013, he signed his first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain. However, he never played a single professional match with the capital club before leaving for LOSC in 2015.
