Trained at PSG, young striker Moussa Diaby ended up exploding in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen. By leaving his training club, the 24-year-old winger was able to play a series of matches in the Bundesliga, progress and thus logically get to know the French team. He is obviously not the only one in this case since Christopher Nkunku experienced the same journey. Enough to confirm that PSG has many talents in its training center but cannot develop them. In an interview given to World Eleventhe current Aston Villa player spoke about his link with PSG and the possibility of a return to France.

“PSG is my training club. I learned everything there, I spent 7 years at the club, I worked with lots of players. Some are professionals today, others not. I played my first professional match at PSG. It was a strong and important moment. I can’t forget that. It’s the club from the capital, the city where I come from. PSG was a good adventure for me. I reluctantly had to take another path. For the development of my career and my progression, I was obliged to leave. By staying at PSG, I would have had less playing time. PSG will remain PSG. Often, I am told that the supporters are thinking about my return. It’s nice. That means I haven’t been forgotten. The fans know that I was trained at this club and that I will be ready to give everything for this jersey. It also means I’m doing good things. If I hadn’t been good, no one would have thought about my return. It’s fun to read and know. Maybe I’ll come back one day. In any case, PSG will remain in my heart for life.”
