John Terry continues to maintain close links with Chelsea. After having brought happiness to the London club for two decades (717 appearances, 67 goals between 1998 and 2017), the former Blues defender now wishes to invest fully in the economic life of his favorite club. According to The Telegraphthe 42-year-old former player is willing to buy shares in Chelsea.
The British tabloid mentions that John Terry recently joined a group of investors including Anand Sambasivan, co-founder of PrimaryBid and big Chelsea fan. The two men, who could form a trio in the future in the event of the arrival of British investment banker Harley Kisberg and founder of iTech Media, are keen to enter into the capital of Chelsea through the acquisition of 10% of the shares of the English team and the money invested would be intended for the modernization of Stamford Bridge, current stronghold of the Blues. Note that the London club has initiated talks with the American investment company Ares Management who wishes to inject more than €400 million.
