Finally remaining at PSG after a particularly eventful summer, Kylian Mbappé should indeed sign for Real Madrid at the end of the season, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

It floats like a scent of déjà vu above Kylian Mbappé. The situation of the French striker is reminiscent of that which was his two years ago, when the Bondynois entered the last year of his contract signed upon his arrival in the summer of 2017. Durant all season, there was only talk of the future of the former Monegasque and most of the rumors sent him to Real Madrid, with whom the top scorer in Ligue 1 had even reached an agreement.

Kylian Mbappé finally let himself be convinced by the arguments of the Parisian leaders and returned for two seasons. Two years later, the world champion and PSG therefore seem to be back at square one since the lease of the Parisian number 7 will end next June. And again, everything argues for a departure from KM7 in the summer. At least that’s the feeling of transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

“Real Madrid, on principle after what happened last summer, and in my opinion, this has always been their position, wants to impose its conditions. Real therefore wants to see him arrive free without having to pay any transfer compensation to PSG. Otherwise, Mbappé will stay at PSG But from what I hear, I think that next summer we are heading towards this scenario. Most likely, he will leave for zero euros, and in the end his destination will be Real Madrid”he said in a live Twich.

The transalpine journalist also returned to the events of last summer. “In July, Mbappé as well as his mother and those close to him absolutely did not speak to Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. It was a heavy summer, then in August Mbappé agreed not to take the famous loyalty bonus inserted in his contract renewal. Every year, he would have had to take a sum which would have been around 85-90 million euros, just to simply stay at PSG as part of this incredible extension signed just a year ago because Mbappé was really very close to Real Madrid, he explained. He gave up this bonus in exchange for being able to play regularly for PSG. Because until that moment, Mbappé had been excluded from the group until not training with the first team and not going on tour. What was the problem ? That Real Madrid simply did not want to take him this summer. »
