None of the French clubs involved in the European Cup this week won in Ligue 1 last weekend. Starting with Paris Saint-Germain, who lost (2-3) at the Parc des Princes against OGC Nice. Olympique de Marseille delivered an insipid performance at the Stade VĂ©lodrome against Toulouse, just like Rennes against Lille, while Lens lost (0-1) at home against Metz.
Obviously, all these results do not bode well on the European level. “Marseille, Lens, Rennes… the clubs from which you expected more.
