Christophe Galtier’s adventure at Paris Saint-Germain only lasted twelve months. Arriving in July 2022 from OGC Nice, the French technician officially left the capital club at the start of the summer, at the end of a season punctuated by a French champion title but marked by a new failure in the European Cup (eliminated in the round of 16 by Bayern Munich).

Looking for a new challenge, the coach who worked at LOSC and ASSE also experienced a stormy last two months after being accused of having made racist remarks towards several Nice players of Muslim faith . During an interview with Canal + which will be broadcast in full on Sunday, Christophe Galtier broke the silence for the first time since his departure from the capital club. “I have not spoken before because there has been such a media outpouring on such sensitive subjects. It’s very difficult to bear, especially since I think it’s unfair. I suffered the blow, but now I am very combative”he confided in particular.
