Former Dutch football legend Dennis Bergkamp could see himself working in England in the near future.
The agent of Dennis Bergkamp, the former great player of Arsenal and the Batavian selection, says he could return to football in England.
Bergkamp still attached to Arsenal
Bergkamp worked at Ajax and Almere City as a coach, but has been away from football for three years. After this eclipse, today he would be ready to return to the forefront.
Agent Rob Jansen said on the KieftJansenEgmondGijp podcast: “Dennis is now at home in Blaricum. I see him often and talk to him often. He is doing very well. I have no doubt that Dennis will return to football. But I’m not thinking about the Netherlands. I’m thinking more of England. But he will come back.”
Jansen emphasizes, however, that it probably won’t be a head coaching position. “I don’t think he has that ambition. Something in the field of coaching, perhaps with his old love Arsenal, would not be surprising. He will come back, I am convinced.”
