OM: fans banned for the Classic against PSG

Bad news to come for supporters of Olympique de Marseille. On September 24, the first Classic of the 2023-2024 season will take place between the Marseille club and Paris Saint-Germain, counting for the 6th day of Ligue 1. And like in previous years, Olympian fans will be deprived of trip to the Parc des Princes.

Indeed, the Ministry of the Interior will publish a decree prohibiting Marseille fans from traveling to the French capital. In addition to the security aspect and the history between the two French clubs, this decision comes in a context where the police are mainly mobilized to facilitate the smooth running of the Rugby World Cup. Please note that Parisian supporters will also be affected by this travel ban during the return match at the Vélodrome in 2024.
